Black Cherry Body Polish.
November 4th, 2009
Bunny Butt Apothecary’s description: Looking for a sweet treat? Our Body Polish is a lightly whipped sugar scrub formulated to emulsify into a light lotion that rinses away leaving your skin refreshed and silky smooth.
You’ll get an 8 oz jar of this sugary concoction – that’s a LOT of scrub!
We loaded our formula with plenty of moisturizing butters and oils to leave your skin smooth without feeling greasy. Inside you’ll find nourishing shea and cocoa butters, plus nutrient-rich sunflower, palm kernel, soy, and castor oils. Now for the scrubby part of this scrub…little sugar crystals work to gently slough away dead skin cells until they dissolve away into the moisturizing base.
This scrub is formulated for use on the body. If you plan to use it on your face, please always test on a small area first to check for possible irritation (after all, your face is much more sensitive than your elbow) and be sure to be extra gentle as you massage it in. We advise that you avoid facial use if you have extremely sensitive skin.
BLACK CHERRY is a deep, dark, succulent cherry scent – beautifully sweet and intoxicating without overdoing it. $15.00.
Wow. I have a new favorite scrub now. Smells like cherry icy freeze pops that I used to eat during the hot summers when I was a kid. OMG, this smells HEAVENLY.
One warning: This smells so delicious that if you are on any sort of diet or taking any sort of weight loss products, I would avoid this scrub completely. You might try to gnaw your arm off after you get out of your shower!
Yes, it smells THAT GOOD.
Now that I’m done raving about the scent, let me tell you about the scrub itself. It is AH-MAZE-ING. It melts into your skin and exfoliates well, without roughing up your poor sensitive flesh. My elbows were incredibly soft and smooth after just one use, and my skin positively GLOWED.
It also doesn’t take much scrub at all to do the job. The 8 ounce jar will last you for quite a few showers, depending on your usage.
I really like the fact that this comes in a jar with a RIDGED plastic screw-type lid. Smooth lids are such a bugger to remove when your hands are all wet and slick!
Did I mention the scent? It lingers nicely on your skin for quite some time after you’re done in the shower.
You need to go and buy this. NOW. :-)
